MENTORS are active coaches, meeting or talking by phone with entrepreneurs 1-2x per month, to help the entrepreneur develop their company and navigate the fundraising process. Mentors are either a) experienced executives who have raised money or have IPO’d/sold a company, b) early stage venture capitalists, or c) subject matter experts (such as in sales, finance or public relations).
EIRS are “entrepreneurs in residence”, and typically are looking for a company to join as CEO. EIRs are experienced executives with a proven track record of success.
The first Nitro working meeting designed to introduce the Mentors/EIRs to each other, and to begin matching with potential entrepreneurs, will take place on February 4, at Nixon Peabody.
